The Kingdom of Tonga is well known for its art forms using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The cultural significance of the materials we use is shared here, to provide insight into why these traditions are still preserved today.

What is a Kiekie?
A Kiekie (pronounced Ki-ē-ki-ē) is a waist garment predominately worn by Tongan women as a sign of respect, identity and dignity as it embodies the binding of our people and our ties to the land. It's significance lies in tradition as a visual representation of our cultural heritage. It is traditionally handmade from pandanus leaves, hibiscus and coconut fibres.
What is the cost to hire?
The cost to hire our Kiekie's is $300 for a fixed period of 4 days, which we deliver and collect at no additional cost. A refundable rental bond of $300 also applies. In all instances, we strongly recommend reading our Kiekie Terms of Hire prior to all bookings.
Can anyone hire your Kiekie's?
Our Kiekie's are only available for hire to Sydney residents where we are based. Should this change we will notify our customer's.
What sizes do you offer?
Our sizes currently range from 12 to 20, however we will review this periodically depending on demand and supply.
